Columbus, OH (August 7, 2025) White Oak Partners (“White Oak”), an experienced owner-operator specializing in institutional-quality multifamily housing, is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of a Class A multifamily community in Columbus, Ohio. The deal is in partnership with MetLife Investment Management (“MIM”), the institutional asset management business of MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET).

“We are delighted to acquire this asset with MIM, as our views on risks and opportunities are well aligned. Both of our firms prioritize resident preferences and options as the core of our investment thesis. The disruptions in the market caused by quickly rising interest rates and heavy new supply deliveries have created an opportunity to invest in communities at attractive prices relative to replacement cost. White Oak’s pipeline is robust today, due to our team’s relationships with key developers, owners, and brokers active in our target markets, which have helped uncover off-market and portfolio opportunities,” said Mike Menzer, CEO of White Oak.
